Margarita Weekend

Old Rittenhouse Restaurant, Bayfield WI - Margaritas

Julie uses only fresh squeezed juice in her drinks!

We’re getting very excited for the upcoming Margarita Weekend, June 18 & 19. It’s a tropical island party in Bayfield, Wisconsin!

On Friday night, we get together at the Chateau for a festive party featuring island drinks and music, and a great buffet of apps and sweets including Jerk Pork Kabob with fruit salsa, Sweet & sour meatballs, Cheese Torta w/Mango Kiwi Chutney, Tropical Fruit Plate, and Macaroons.

Drinks served over the weekend will include Julie’s classic margarita, a guava nectar colada, a pear rosemary margarita, the sharkbite (a spicy tomato martini), mai tais, and a delightful mojito, and many more.

Saturday’s dinner includes a seafood cocktail Starter with prawn, crab, avocado, and spicy gazpacho cocktail sauce. The soup course will be chilled Bayfield strawberry soup, followed by a jicama salad with mandarin orange matcheick jicamo cliantro, and lime juice on a small bed of baby greens.

After a red sangria sorbet, we offer a choice of two entrees: Macadamia crusted Mahi Mahi topped with a coconut shrimp, lime cilantro sauce and bismati rice, OR, Tender braised short ribs with dried papaya mango demi and soft polenta, topped w/a gremolada.

For dessert, we’re serving the ultimate banana split: a decadent combination of rum and brown sugar marinated pineapple, bananas, ice cream, tropical fruit sauce, and hot fudge.

Throughout the dinner, Julie will serve her delicious tropical drinks, all made with fresh, hand-squeezed juices! It’s going to be a great party, so come and join us.

The events are available separately, or as part of a lodging package. There are just a few rooms left, so if you want to spend the night here, call soon!

Happy summer, everyone!
