Don’t miss one of the summer’s premier events, Concerts by the Lake, a free concert series held in Memorial Park and hosted by the Bayfield Chamber of Commerce and Visitor’s Bureau.
This year, the Chamber of Commerce has expanded the series to 10 concerts and added professional sound and lights for each show. Concerts run from July 2 to September 3 on Tuesdays, 7-9pm, with a big Thank You to the Bayfield Civic League for use of the park!
Whether you like bluegrass, rock and roll, pop or indie music, Concerts by the Lake features local and regional talents of every genre, offering a relaxing and enjoyable evening for every musical taste.
Get to Memorial Park early with a blanket or a few lawn chairs, set up camp, and enjoy the music. After the show, swing by the Bayfield Inn’s rooftop bar for drinks overlooking Lake Superior, or take the family for ice cream at the Candy Shoppe in downtown Bayfield.
Our guests at Old Rittenhouse Inn have really enjoyed the concerts the past two summers, and are looking forward to this year’s events. A recent guests commented, “It is so nice to have something fun and free to do during the evening in Bayfield. We love going to Big Top Chautauqua, but they don’t have shows on Monday through Wednesday, so we are thankful for the Tuesday Concerts.”
