Easter Brunch at Old Rittenhouse Inn
Easter Brunch is a longstanding tradition at Old Rittenhouse Inn’s Landmark Restaurant since the days when Mary Phillips cooked every meal that went through our kitchen door. On Sunday, April 5th, our team of chefs and servers will focus all their skills and attention on just one thing: presenting the most fantastic Easter Brunch you are likely to find in the north woods.
Easter Brunch at Old Rittenhouse Inn is a 3-course meal that starts with mouthwatering fresh bakery and a choice of two starters: mixed Greens with Strawberry Champagne Vinaigrette, shaved Parmesan and crispy fried Scallions OR poached Fruits served warm with Cinnamon Whipped Cream.
There are five delicious entrees to choose from including Sweet Potato-crusted Quiche with Caramelized Onion, Feta Cheese and Spinach OR Crab Cakes Benedict with Sundried Tomato Hollandaise. The Whitefish Lyonnaise features a fresh local Bodin’s whitefish fillet crusted in shoestring Potatoes, then pan seared till crispy, finished in the oven, and plated with a Buerre Blanc sauce. The last two choices are old Rittenhouse favorites: Roasted Pork Loin with Cherry Marmalade, or Champagne Chicken with roasted forest Mushrooms.
The sweet conclusion to Easter Brunch is dessert, and you may choose from one of the Rittenhouse’s famous Sundaes, a Raspberry Créme Custard, Panna Cotta with Bumbleberry Compote or Chocolate Crepes filled with Dulce De Leche. It’s easy to see why Easter Brunch is always a favorite annual event here at the Inn.
