This Bayfield Arts and Crafts style home was built in 1910. The cottage has since been lovingly restored and updated with luxurious amenities like a whirlpool tub, wood-burning fireplace, master suite. Inside, guests will notice the Arts and Crafts influences: pillars, oak trim and staircase, leaded glass windows and wood floors.

On the ground level, the cottage's wood burning fireplace is set and ready to light. The sleeping quarters are located upstairs. You'll love the rich fabrics and wallcoverings, antique light fixtures and space to unwind. A wicker loveseat in a sunny window offers the perfect place to curl up and enjoy a book. The 2-person whirlpool tub will soak away your cares, and a king size bed sets the stage for the ultimate night's rest.

There's also a wet bar/pantry you can stock with your favorite beverages. At your request, our staff will serve Champagne, chocolates or a fruit and cheese tray. We can also arrange for fresh flowers to be waiting when you arrive.

The Rittenhouse Cottage is located just one block from the Inn, across a gorgeous tree-filled ravine. We try to provide you with every comfort and amenity to make your stay relaxing, enjoyable and romantic. Think of it as your "home away from home," in beautiful Bayfield.
