The romance
of country inns and fine wine dates back
to the early days of Burgundy, France
where travelers discovered a marriage
of intimate lodging, regional cuisine,
and fine wine that made an unforgettable
experience. This atmosphere is found today
at the Rittenhouse Inn's Red Wine Weekends
offered in February, April, and November.
Get ready to celebrate
the marriage of fine red wine and gourmet
cuisine at our upcoming Red Wine Weekend
on November 12-13. The schedule of events
includes a Wine Tasting and Appetizer
Party, an afternoon Tasting Seminar,
and a 6-course dinner at Landmark Restaurant,
with fine wines selected to match each
dish.

Red Wine Tasting and Reception
Friday, 7-9pm
The wine tasting and reception features
delightful wines and hearty appetizers
with expert host Gary Binter. Enjoy
a variety of wines and delicious food
in the comfort of the Rittenhouse dining
rooms. This event is included in the
weekend package, or available ala carte
for $45/person plus tax and gratuity.
Red Wine Tasting
and Seminar
Saturday, 1-3pm
The wine tasting/seminar features 8
red wines and the all knowledge, humor,
and passion of our guest expert, Gary
Binter, along with Rittenhouse wine
steward, Julie Philips. This event is
included in the weekend package, or
available ala carte for $45/person plus
tax and gratuity.
Red Wine Dinner
Saturday, 6:30pm
The highlight of the weekend is Saturdays
specially-prepared six-course gourmet
dinner. Each course is paired with a
fine red wine to highlight the flavors
of both food and wine. Includes appetizer,
soup, salad, sorbet, entree and dessert.
